The first quarter of 2019: Home prices in Warsaw fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Warsaw fell by $3,500 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $42,500 - a 7.6% decrease over the $46,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Warsaw in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Warsaw for 2019 was $1,469. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,495. This marks an decrease of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
