Warsaw median home prices fell by 40.7% in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Warsaw fell by $27,250 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $39,750 - a 40.7% decrease over the $67,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Warsaw in the fourth quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Warsaw for 2018 was $1,495. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,511. This marks an decrease of 1.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.8%.
