The third quarter of 2017: Home prices in Dallas City increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Dallas City rose by $33,250 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 71.1% increase over the $46,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Dallas City in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Dallas City for 2017 was $1,144. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,118. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
