October 2019: Hamilton experienced a 9.7% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Hamilton fell by $14,000 while total sales remained unchanged with five homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 9.7% decrease over the $144,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Hamilton in October 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Hamilton for 2019 was $1,732. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,793. This marks an decrease of 3.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
