How did home prices perform in Carthage during April 2018?

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Carthage fell by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,000 - a 46.2% decrease over the $65,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Carthage in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Carthage for 2018 was $1,578. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,629. This marks an decrease of 3.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.5%.
