Hamilton home prices rose in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Hamilton rose by $27,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,500 - a 78.3% increase over the $34,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Hamilton in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Hamilton for 2018 was $1,793. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,658. This marks an increase of 8.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
