Report: Pleasant Hill School District spent $10,972 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Pleasant Hill Community Unit School District 3 was up 5.5 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Pike County school district spent $10,403 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,972 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 322 to 315 students over the same period.

Pleasant Hill's spending in 2019-20 was 24.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
