Carthage home prices fell in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Carthage fell by $25 while total sales decreased by 33.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $64,975 - a 0 decrease from the $65,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Carthage in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Carthage for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,547, approximately 2.4 percent of the median home sale price for April.
