City of Macomb Committee of the Whole met Nov. 14.

PUBLIC HEARING TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC INPUT REGARDING THE PROPOSED WATER TREATMENT FACILITY AND DISCUSSION OF THE PLANNING AND DESIGN OF THE TREATMENT FACILITY
PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.
1. Consideration of an ordinance authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $6,500,000 Taxable General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2022A of the City of Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois, providing the details of such bonds and for an Alternate Revenue source and the Levy of Direct Annual Taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on such Bonds, and Related Matters.
This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.
2. Consideration of an ordinance authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $10,000,000 Taxable General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue source), Series 2022B of the City of Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois, providing the details of such Bonds and for an alternate Revenue Source and the Levy of Direct Annual Taxes sufficient to pay the principal and interest on such Bonds, and Related Matters.
This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.
3. Other business.
Executive Session
To consider information relative to:
a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.
b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.
c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.
d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.
e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
