The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m.
Recognition of Visitors and Guests
V. Todd Jokisch led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed everyone to the board meeting.
Proposed Agenda
Cuba/Knapp - Motion to approve the proposed agenda as presented. Voice vote: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Appoint Disciplinary Officer
Pursuant to open meetings act 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(9)
President Jokisch offered to preside as the Disciplinary Officer.
Cuba/Fanning - Motion to appoint V. Todd Jokisch as the hearing officer for a Student Disciplinary Hearing. Voice vote: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Executive Session (Exception 9)
Cuba/DeFord - Motion to go into Executive Session at 7:06 p.m. in accordance with State Statute to discuss the following:
• Student disciplinary cases. 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(9)
Roll call: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Return to Open Session
Petefish/Kanpp - Motion to come out of executive session at 8:22 p.m. and to approve and seal the minutes of this executive session. Voice vote: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Cuba/Petefish - Motion that student 101641 be found to have committed an act of gross disobedient misconduct such as an expulsion of a period of time not to exceed 2 calendar years as justified by the evidence. Roll call: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Cuba/Petefish - Motion that the board reconvene in closed session pursuant to the Illinois open meetings act 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(9) to determine what if any discipline might be appropriate. Roll call: All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
