McDonough County Elms/Building & Grounds Committee met Oct 3.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
The Elms/Building and Grounds Committee me at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members in attendance included, Chair Larry Aurelio, Vice Chair Terra Litchfield, Dave Cortelyou, Vicky Kipling, and Deckle McLean. Members Mike Cox, Cindi Helling, and Travis Hiel were absent. Others in attendance included Patrick Stout, Elms Administrator Tim Bledsoe, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and Committee Secretary Stacey Alexander.
Chair Larry Aurelio called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Approve Elm’s Daily Room Rate
Elm’s Director Tim Bledsoe informed the committee that as of October 1, 2022 the new Medicaid room rate based on level 1 care will be $319.81. Medicaid will be changing their rate every quarter going forward.
Member Cortelyou made a motion to increase the flat room rate to $320.00 for semi-private pay rooms, $375.00 for full private pay rooms, and to eliminate levels of private pay rooms, moved with a second by Member Kipling. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Member Litchfield moved with a second by Member McLean to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
