MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

ROLL CALL

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

1. Proclamation for Fire Prevention Week.

2. Discussion on an ordinance approving the termination of the Macomb Downtown Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District Redevelopment Project Area, Plan and Projects.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

3. Discussion on an ordinance approving the Redevelopment Plan and Projects for Macomb Downtown – East Side Tax Increment Financing District.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

4. Discussion on an ordinance designating the Redevelopment Project Area for Macomb Downtown – East Side Tax Increment Financing District.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

5. Discussion on an ordinance adopting Tax Increment Financing for Macomb Downtown – East Side Tax Increment Financing District Plan, Projects and Redevelopment Project Area.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

6. Discussion on making two amendments to Chapter 4 Alcoholic Beverages to create a Class E and Supplement Class OPC liquor classification.

Attached is a memo from City Attorney Scalf along with a proposed ordinance for your review. Discussion is planned.

7. Discussion on the proposed organizational chart for McDonough County Public Transportation.

Attached is a memo from Transit Director Lambert along with the organizational chart for your review. Discussion is planned.

8. Other business.

Executive Session

To consider information relative to:

a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.

d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
