MDH Welcomes Radiologist Dr. B. Nelson Essiet
Dr. B. Nelson Essiet, radiologist, recently joined the REMLO group and will work with the MDH Radiology department.
Dr. Essiet joins Dr. Alvin Weintraub in REMLO following the retirement of Dr. Ronald Rigdon.
A graduate of the University of Toledo School of Medicine, Dr. Essiet earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The College of Wooster and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University.
Board Certified through the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Essiet worked as a Resident at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio before continuing his clinical training in diagnostic radiology from the Medical College Hospitals in Toledo and a Fellowship at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and University Hospitals in Cleveland.
He worked for the last 20 years in Akron, Ohio, with the Summa Health System.
