The Ambassador Committee of the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the YMCA of McDonough County (400 E. Calhoun Street, Macomb) to celebrate the recent addition of 24-hour fitness center access for all Y members ages 18 years and over. The weight rooms, cardio, and common areas can be accessed via individual member key tags via the Senior Center entrance at the southwest side of the building outside of regular business hours. 24/7 access is included at no additional cost to members and required waivers are available at the front desk. This update to the YMCA facility has been a project in the making for the past two years and ensures that the YMCA continues to meet the needs of their members and the community.
