City of Greenville Planning Commission met Feb. 27.

Following the Executive Order issued by Governor Pritzker and with the surge in COVID Omicron variant, it has been determined by Mayor Barber that this public meeting be held both in-person and by remote participation.
The Planning Commission meeting was called to order on February 27, 2023 at 6:00 PM by Chairman Jack Chism

Staff Present: Inspector Jeff Ketten, City Manager JoAnn Hollenkamp, and City Clerk Jody Weiss

3.1. Minutes of: November 28, 2022 Meeting
A) Motion by Chance Vohlken, seconded by Dennis Warren, to approve Planning Commission Minutes from November 28, 2022.

Public Hearing was opened at 6:03 PM. City Manager Hollenkamp advised the house at 321 S Sixth Street is already there, however it encroaches on the right of way. There is three feet of encroachment on one side. All owners were notified and no one had any objections. Building Inspector Jeff Ketten said the City has no issues and recommends approving this vacation. Public Hearing was closed at 6:05 PM.
4.1. Motion by Chance Vohlken, seconded by Dennis Warren, approve vacation of a portion of city right of way on W Winter Ave at 321 S Sixth St
