PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MACOMB’S FISCAL YEAR 23-24 BUDGET, BEGINNING MAY 1, 2023

ENDING APRIL 30, 2024

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

1. Discussion on an ordinance to Amend the City Fee Schedule by Amending Chapter 24 and Section 21-25 of the Municipal Code of Macomb.

This ordinance had first read last Monday night. Further discussion is planned.

2. Discussion on an ordinance to Adopt the City of Macomb’s Fiscal Year 23-24 Budget, beginning May 1, 2023 and ending April 30, 2024.

This ordinance had first read last Monday night. Further discussion is planned.

3. Discussion on the City of Macomb’s Travel Expenses Reimbursement Policy, and Resolution.

A memo from CA Coker along with a copy of the resolution are attached. Discussion is planned.

4. Discussion on soliciting Request for Proposals Municipal P-Cards.

A memo from Business Office Director Worley is attached. Discussion is planned.

5. Discussion on soliciting bids for concrete sidewalks.

A memo from CDC Bannon is attached. Discussion is planned.

Executive Session

 To consider information relative to:

a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.

d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
