Carthage Elementary School District 317 Board of Education met May 3.

The special meeting of the Carthage E.S.D. #317 Board of Education was called to order at7:00 p.m. by Board President Luke Burling.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all in attendance.
Roll call: Sean Dickerson/present; Linda Housewright/present; Jacob Murphy/present; Luke Burling/present; Stephanie Fitch/present; Dillon Darby shire/present.
Also present were Jenny White and Lyle Klein.
There were no individuals present wishing to speak to the Board of Education.
It was moved by Mr. Darbyshire and seconded by Mr. Murphy to enter into executive session at 7:02 p.m. for the purpose of discussing personnel. Roll Call: Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mrs. Housewright/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mrs. Fitch/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion caried 6-0.
It was moved by Mr. Murphy and seconded by Mr. Darbyshire to exit executive session at 9:34 p.m. Roll Call: Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mrs. Housewright/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mrs. Fitch/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion caried 6-0.
It was moved by Mr. Darbyshire and seconded by Mr. Dickerson to adjourn the meeting at 9:34 p.m. Roll Call: Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mrs. Housewright/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mrs. Fitch/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion caried 6-0.
