The majority of students in Morgan County schools were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 4,327 students attending Morgan County schools, 80.1% were white. African American students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 7.4% of Morgan County students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Morgan County, representing 80.5% of the student body.

Eisenhower Elementary School had the most diverse student body in Morgan County, including Asian, African American, Hispanic, multiracial, and white.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county increased 0.4% when compared to the previous year.
