City of Greenville City Council met Oct. 30.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

The Special Council Meeting meeting was called to order on October 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM by Mayor Pro-Tem Blak Knox.

1. ROLL CALL

Council Present: Council Member Ivan Estevez, Council Member Lisa Stephens, and Council Member Blake Knox

Council Absent: Mayor George Barber and Council Member Kyle Littlefield

Staff Present: City Manager Jo Hollenkamp, City Clerk Jody Weiss, City Attorney

Patrick Schaufelberger, Economic Development Director Bill Walker

Public Present: None

5. MATTERS OF COUNCIL CONSIDERATION

5.1. Downtown Demolition of FP Joy Building, Annex Building & Attorney's Office Bid Review & Decision

Motion by Lisa Stephens, seconded by Ivan Estevez, Motion to reject all bids and rebid project.

RESULT: Carried

MOVER: Lisa Stephens

SECONDER: Ivan Estevez

AYES: Ivan Estevez, Lisa Stephens, and Blake Knox

ABSENT: George Barber and Kyle Littlefield

6. EXECUTIVE SESSION

Stephens made a motion to adjourn to Executive Session, Estevez seconded. All voted in favor of adjourning to Executive Session at 6:03 PM.

7. ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Ivan Estevez, seconded by Lisa Stephens, to adjourn the Special Council Meeting at 6:20 PM.

RESULT: Carried
