CONSENT AGENDA

1. Minutes of the Macomb City Council meeting held on Monday, December 4, 2023, and the Committee of the Whole meeting held on Monday, December 11, 2023.

2. Monthly Reports:

PUBLIC COMMENT – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meetings will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1. Consideration of an ordinance regarding the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act for the City of Macomb.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final action.

2. Consideration of an ordinance Amending Chapter 4 of the Macomb Municipal Code Concerning Holidays Sales, Limitation of Class V License Creation and Allowance of Video Gaming as a Primary Use for Class V License Holders.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final action.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Consideration to authorize the purchase of Laserfiche Software Subscription document management searchable database.

This was discussed at Committee of the Whole. Final action is in order.

2. Consideration to authorize Request For Proposals for the Chandler Park Master Plan.

3. Consideration of an ordinance for a Special Event Liquor License for the St. Paul’s School’s Triva Night Event.

A copy of the ordinance is attached. City Attorney Scalf will present for first reading.

4. Consideration of an ordinance for a Special Event Liquor License for the Macomb Arts Center Battle of the Brushes Event.

A copy of the ordinance is attached. City Attorney Scalf will present for first reading.

5. Consideration to approve Executive Session Minutes to remain closed.

6. Other new business.
