City of Macomb Committee of the Whole met July 8.

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.
1. Discussion on an Ordinance to Authorize the Issuance of a Special Use Permit to Allow Boarding House in an R-4 Multiple Family Zoning District at 720 Wigwam Hollow Road, Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois.
This ordinance had first reading July 1, 2024. Discussion is planned.
2. Discussion on a Use Agreement between the City of Macomb and Macomb Community School District 185.
Memo from Transit Interim Director Andrew Erwin attached along with the agreement. Discussion is planned.
3. Other business.
Executive Session
To consider information relative to:
a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.
b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.
c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.
d) The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.
e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
