City of Greenville Lake Committee will meet July 15.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

1. ROLL CALL

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

3. CITY MANAGER COMMENTS

3.1. Thank you to everyone who attended the June 24th meeting of the Lake Committee - the attendees were very respectful and the meeting was informative. and productive.

3.2. This meeting will replace the regularly scheduled meeting of Aug. 5, 2024.

5. CITIZEN INPUT / COMMENTS ON ANY AGENDA ITEM OR OTHERWISE

6. MATTERS OF CONSIDERATION

6.1. Presentation by Kyle Smith of Wind/Wave action videos.

6.2. Links for presentations

6.3. Numerical Study presentation by Craig Moser

6.4. Presentation by Jim Tarasuik.

6.5. Consideration of wakeboarding on the lake and the rules, regulations and possible zone that might allow for that activity.

Motion to recommend to City Council the following rules, regulations, and possible zone area pertaining to wave surfing and wakeboats when creating large waves:

1. Location/zone: __________

2. _________feet from shoreline

3. These holidays wave surfing and/or creating a large wave are prohibited: 4th of July weekend, Memorial weekend, Labor Day weekend.

4. Other:

6.6. Consideration to recommend to the City Council to repeal ordinance #2689 which is necessary if the previous agenda item is passed.

Motion to recommend to the City Council to repeal ordinance #2689 and replace that ordinance with a new ordinance defining the rules and regulations related to wakeboarding/wave surfing.
