A-C Central Community Unified School District 262 Board of Education met June 25.

The meeting was called to order at 6:47 p.m.

Recognition of Visitors and Guests

Todd Jokisch welcomed everyone to the Amended Budget Hearing.

Presentation of the Budget Hearing

The major changes are due to unexpected repairs, additional grant money, additional grants we received on grants, and additional money that was allocated from the state. When Dr. Zahm went in and fixed all the revenue (CPPRT, taxes) The bus lease payment was also not included on the original budget. This budget is a lot more accurate, does not include any expenses from when the report being ran on 6/20/24 till the end of the year.

Tort is not negative, it is negative compared to what was budgeted, not what is in the account. Dr. Zahm redid the tort plan and took the correct things out of tort that was a little higher.

A budget amendment is required if you exceed a budget expenditure in any fund, large unbudgeted expenditures, and more than a 10% line item change. It has to be signed by all board members, voted on, delivered to all the counties, ROE, submitted, and issued.
