City of Greenville City Council met Aug. 13.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. OPEN PUBLIC MEETING 

2. DISCUSSION OF: 

2.1. The purpose of this meeting is to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed federally and state funded project consisting of the extension and replacement of sidewalk with new ADA-compliant sidewalk featuring crosswalks, a pedestrian bridge and pedestrian lighting. The project area will encompass the south side of US Route 40 and east and west sides of IL Route 127 (from the intersection of said routes thence west approximately 2,430 feet and south approximately 1,210 feet). The City of Greenville intends to apply to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant through the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program – Cycle 16 by September 30, 2024.
