Western Illinois women's golf concludes fall season at The Judson

The Western Illinois Women's Golf team wrapped up their fall season at The Judson tournament, held on October 30 and 31. The team finished in 12th place overall.

Olivia Kerr led the team, tying for 32nd place with a score of 229 (+13). During the first round, Kerr birdied on hole 11 but ended with seven bogeys, shooting a 78 (+6). In the second round, she recorded four birdies, including consecutive ones on holes 9 and 10, finishing with a score of 75 (+3). Her best performance was in the front nine of the third round where she started with a birdie and parred the rest. She achieved back-to-back birdies again on holes 11 and 12, concluding the round with a score of 76 (+3).

Senior Natalie Hooper tied for 46th place with a total score of 235 (+19). She made one birdie in the first round, scoring a 78 (+6). In the second round, Hooper improved by making two birdies on holes 3 and 5 in the front nine and another on hole 16, finishing with a score of 77 (+5). During her final round, she encountered six bogeys in the front nine but managed to birdie hole 15 before ending with a double bogey.

With their fall season concluded, the Women's golf team will resume competition next year. They are scheduled to play again on February 13 and February 14 at Bowling Green in Litchfield, Arizona.
