Western Illinois University's women's golf team is set to conclude its fall season at The Judson tournament in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The competition will take place on October 30-31 at the Hattiesburg Country Club, a par 72 course stretching over 6,183 yards.
In their last outing, Western Illinois finished seventh out of nine teams at the Bradley Invitational. Senior Natalie Hooper led the team by tying for 14th place with a score of 233 (+17). Hooper managed four birdies throughout the tournament, with three occurring on the front nine and one on the back nine. Her teammate, senior Olivia Kerr, was also a strong performer, finishing tied for 24th with a score of 238 (+22). Kerr recorded five birdies during her rounds, including consecutive ones on holes 11 and 12 in round three.
The lineup for Western Illinois includes Natalie Hooper, Olivia Kerr, Makayla Mussatto, Gabriella Galindo Rubio, and Marissa Spreitzer. They will face competitors from Belmont, Central Michigan, Drake, Tarleton State University (Texas A&M-Commerce), UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham), Central Arkansas University (UCA), Cincinnati University (UC), North Alabama University (UNA), South Alabama University (USA), and Southern Miss.
