A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Pike County Il Clerk & Election Division on February 5, 2025. The request, made by the West Central Reporter, sought comprehensive information about all candidates running in the upcoming spring election.
The West Central Reporter is a media organization dedicated to providing thorough and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs. As part of our commitment to transparency and public accountability, we requested specific details about each candidate under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
The requested information includes each candidate's full name, the office they are running for, jurisdiction of the office, party affiliation, and contact information such as address, phone number, and email address.
