PUBLIC COMMENT
Citizens wishing to address the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners on matters germane to the agenda of the meetings will be limited to 3 minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Consideration to approve minutes from:
1. January 14, 2025 (OPEN)
NEW BUSINESS
1. Request for approval - Authorization for Bryonna Oden to shadow Secretary Jess Biddenstadt for training and transition purposes.
MPD Department update - including budget update, technology initiatives, progress of current trainees, and recent or upcoming personnel departures.
Discussion and approval to conduct an entry-level police officer examination on May 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM, with applications being accepted from April 9th until April 30th at 4:00 PM.
4 Consideration to merge the existing entry-level eligibility lists.
5 MFD Department update - general report on department operations, staffing, and ongoing initiatives.
6. Consideration and approval to fill vacancy - Captain position (MFD)
7. Consideration and approval to fill vacancy - Lieutenant position. (MFD)
8. Consideration and approval to fill vacancy - Firefighter position. (MFD)
CLOSED SESSION
1. To consider information relative to:
1. To consider information relative to appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act. (Only if needed)
