McDonough County Board ESDA & Claims Committee met March 18.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The ESDA & Claims Committee held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, X, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, 3rd floor, Law Library. Committee Members present were Chair Eric Chapman, Vice Chair Clayton Murphy, Larry Aurelio, Joe Erlandson, Craig Foster, Mike Kirby, Jack Lowderman, and Jarad Royer. Also present was ESDA Director Edgar Rodriguez, County Board Chair Eric Blakeley, and Deputy Clerk Deanna Bisby.

Chair Eric Chapman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of February 18, 2025 Minutes

Member Royer moved with a second by Member Erlandson to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

ESDA Director Report

Director Edgar Rodriguez gave the report. Rodriguez’s office and equipment are in Tanner Hall at WIU, they are closing the hall in July, so he will need to find somewhere else to go.

Approval of Committee Claims

Member Foster moved with a second by Member Aurelio, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of County Claims

Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Foster, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

None.

None.

Public Comment

None.

County Board Chair Comments

County Chair Blakeley informed the Committee that he will get an update from the contractors tomorrow. The agenda for the Board meeting is much smaller this month.

Adjourn

Member Foster moved with a second by Member Aurelio to adjourn the meeting at 7:13 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
