City of Macomb Committee of the Whole met June 9.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

1. Discussion on an Ordinance to Create a Class R + EH Liquor License for Arrowwood Hospitality, Inc. d/b/a Rocky's Bar & Grill at 1420 West Jackson Street, Macomb, Illinois.

This had its first reading at the June 2, 2025, council meeting. Discussion is
planned.

2. Discussion on an Ordinance to Create a Special Event Liquor License for the St. Paul's Raising Saints Event. 

This had its first reading at the June 2, 2025, council meeting. Discussion is
planned.

3. Discussion on an Ordinance to Authorize the Rezoning of 1224 Maple Avenue, Macomb, Illinois from R-1 Single Family Residence to an O/I Office/Institutional.

This had its first reading at the June 2, 2025, council meeting. Please see the
attached report from CDD Lambert. Discussion is planned.

4. Discussion on an Ordinance Proposing the Approval of a Business Development District Redevelopment Plan and Establishing a Date for a Public Hearing for the Macomb Business Development District No. 1.

This had its first reading at the June 2, 2025, council meeting. Discussion is
planned.

5. Presentation of the Quarterly Report for Public Works Departments by Public Works Director Alice Ohrtmann.

Attached is the quarterly report. Discussion is planned.

6. Presentation of the Quarterly Report for the Marketing and Downtown Development Department by Director Savannah Ballard.

Attached is the quarterly report. Discussion is planned.

ACTION ITEMS

1. Consideration to Approve and Ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Macomb and the Teamster's Union No. 627.

The Committee has Power to Act. Final action will be in order.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To consider information relative to:

1. Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (1) of the Open Meetings Act.

2. Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or
representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (2) of the Open Meetings Act.

3. The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (5) of the Open Meetings Act.

4. The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (6) of the Open Meetings Act.

5. Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (11) of the Open Meetings Act.
