There were 303 Black students enrolled in Morgan County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 7% of the 4,298 students in the county. They were the third most represented ethnicity.

Among the five districts in Morgan County, Jacksonville School District 117 recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 293 students.
