Jacksonville City Council approved the fiscal 2016 budget, which includes appropriations for corporate purposes, during a recent meeting.
After a second reading of the budget ordinance, the council adopted a resolution to approve the budget.
Under the consent agenda, the council assessed the city treasurer’s report and a resolution to accept a proposal from Revize LLC for a new city website design and development.
The council also looked at a resolution authorizing a joint-dispatch agreement between multiple parties – the Morgan County Emergency Telephone Systems Board, Morgan County, City of Jacksonville and Passavant Memorial Area Hospital.
