The Carrollton Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 1 board heard updates on the restroom and band building projects at a recent meeting.
The restroom project is complete, except that officials were still waiting for the new locks for the doors to arrive. JUN Construction was the contractor on the project.
Work on the band building also has been completed. Henson Robinson was the contractor on the project
The board also learned that the Illinois 5Essentials Survey is out. The survey examines the culture surrounding climate change, and at least 30 percent family participation is expected.
The board also approved the funds to send nine freshman and sophomore students to the 212 Leadership Conference in Collinsville.
