Jerseyville City Council to discuss TIF applications

Jerseyville City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at 115 E. Prairie St. to discuss the Tax Increment Funding (TIF) application of SSGC Holdings LLC and Grey Area LLC and decide whether to authorize the mayor and city clerk to execute the redevelopment agreement with the two companies.

The committee will also examine a second TIF application, this time related to Marshall Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc.

Also on the agenda are discussions around an ordinance to amend the liquor code and add two new Class A liquor licenses, a presentation from Jon and Kimberley Wade on the Jonny Wade Memorial, and the resignation of Bob Updike from the Jerseyville Fire Department.
