White Hall Township library board reviews librarian's report

The White Hall Township Library Board of Trustees met Aug. 8 to review the librarian's report.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the board:

Board meetings typically are held at 5 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.

White Hall Township Library Monthly Board Meeting

August 8, 2016

The monthly meeting of the White Hall Township Library met Monday, August 8, 2016 with Jessica Henry, Pat Taylor, Cathy Williams, Mary Frances Tunison, Dawn Ballard and librarian Penny Eilers present. Ellen Legg arrived later.

President Henry called the meeting to order at 5:17 p.m.

The minutes were approved as read

The Treasure's Report was not available.

Librarian's Report: Circulation for July was 994 compared to 1027 last year. Fines and fees collected $75.40, spent $16.08. A computer program will be offered every Thursday in September.

Old Business:

One hundred and fifty one dollars that was left over from the summer reading program budget will be spent on books.

New Business:

Approval was given to pay the $200 fee for Penny to attend the IL Library Association Annual Conference held in Rosemont, IL on 10/18 - 10/20.

Dawn made a motion to pay the SHARE fee of $1,500 and the E-read fee of $375.18 for FY17.

The next meeting is September 12, 2016 at 5:15 p.m.

There being no further business before the board the meeting was adjourned at 5:44 p.m.
