The Smart Grid Advisory Council (“SGAC”) has been established by the Illinois General Assembly pursuant to Article 220, Section 5/16-108.6 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes and consists of stakeholders for the purposes of advising and working with participating utilities on the development and implementation of a Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure Deployment Plan.
