The public is reminded of the rules established in board policy:
8:110 – Public Suggestions and Complaints
2:230 – Public Participation at School Board Meetings and Petitions to the Board
Copies of both policies are provided at the table where meeting agendas are made available.
The president of the board shall verbally recognize individuals during the public comments section of the meeting to advise each of his opportunity to speak. The individual desiring to speak shall give his or her name, address, and the group, if any, that he or she is representing.
Comments shall be limited to 5 minutes.
