The Godfrey Town Board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Doug Mueller on January 4, 2017 at 6:15 p.m. at the Godfrey Town Hall, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL.
Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the minutes of December 6, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joe Springman. Roll Call Vote: Ayes – Johnes, McAtee, Springman, Stewart, Stumpf, Williams, Mueller. Nays – None, Absent – None. Motion carried.
Approval of Payment of Bills
Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the December 2016 Township bills as follows: General Fund $11,688.88
General Assistance Fund $4,531.26
Social Security Fund $1,998.30
Audit Fund $0.00
Insurance Fund $0.00
IMRF Fund $1,428.36
Seconded by Michael Stumpf. Poll of Board: Ayes – 7, Nays – 0, Absent – 0. Motion carried.

FY2018 Budget Authorization
Supervisor Mueller asked for authorization to prepare the FY2018 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Godfrey Township. Mark Stewart moved to give authorization to Supervisor Mueller to prepare the Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for FY2018, seconded by Michael Stumpf. Roll Call Vote: Ayes- Johnes- McAtee, Springman, Stewart, Stumpf, Williams, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent- None. Motion carried.
Travel Payment and Guidelines Ordinance
Supervisor Mueller reported that he will provide an Ordinance and Policy for Travel Expense and Guidelines for the Board consideration at the next meeting. Mark Stewart recommended using the Federal standards for travel expenses.
Mark Stewart moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:21 p.m., seconded by Michael Stumpf. Poll of Board: Ayes – 7, Nays – 0, Absent – 0. Motion carried.
