Unpaid fines for Quincy-based campaign committees totaled $10,100 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Quincy collectively owe a total of $10,100 in overdue fees, records obtained by the West Central Reporter show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Quincy were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Quincy-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Taking Back America, which owes a total of $10,000.

The total that Taking Back America still owes comes from two fines of $5,000, both for violation of board order.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Quincy owing unpaid fines in January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
