The price of local government: City of Fulton

The City of Fulton budget was $3.76 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $2,370.23 per household.

That's a decrease of 11.7 percent from 2014, when the city spent $4.26 million, or $2,683.85 per household.

Fulton has 1,586 households and a population of 3,410.

Since 2001, the City of Fulton budget has fallen by 64.8 percent, from $10.68 million. The city population has fallen 9.5 percent over the same period, from 3,770.
