The City of Vandalia budget was $8.93 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $4,139.30 per household.

That's an increase of 0.6 percent from 2014, when the city spent $8.88 million, or $4,113.90 per household.

Vandalia has 2,158 households and a population of 7,200.

Since 2001, the City of Vandalia budget has fallen by 7.3 percent, from $9.64 million. The city population has grown 2.9 percent over the same period, from 7,000.
