Here is the agenda provided by the Council:

Petitions

By the following organizations requesting permission to conduct a raffle and have the bond requirement waived: Barney’s/Benefit for Jason Hummel from now through 10/7/17; and Triple Oaks Club from now through 10/15/17. The City Clerks recommends approval of the pemits.

Ward 7

By the Historical Society of Quincy requesting permission to block off the alley located at 425 S. 12th Street between John Wood Mansion and Visitor’s Center be closed for the “Strassenfest from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, Friday, October 13, 2017. Barricades are requested for the event.

Ward 3

By Penny Roberts, AirMedCare Network, requesting permission to land the Air Evac Helicopter at Home Depot on October 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for Kids’ Safety Days. The Quincy Fire Department will handle the securing of the landing zone during landing and takeoff.

Ward 7

By The Scoreboard, 234 S. 8th, requesting permission to waive Section 111.067(d) (Permitting open liquor to leave licensed premises) and 111.096(a) (Consumption outside a licensed premises) on October 7th and October 13th, 14th and 15th from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. in their north and west parking lots. Closed areas will be fenced off with only one way in and out of the building.

By Barney’s Tavern Inc., 1708 Broadway, requesting permission to waive Section 111.067(d) (Permitting open liquor to leave licensed premises) and Section 111.096(a) (Consumption outside a licensed premises) on October 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. A 30’ x 30’ section of Barney’s private parking lot connected to the south end of the Beer Garden will be fenced off with only one way in and out of the building to hold Bags Tournament for Jason Hummel Benefit.

Recommendation Of The Chief Of Police

By Chief of Police Rob Copley stating that a necessary public hearing was held and Carra G. Stinnett and Justin M. Stinnett representing “Party “N Progress”, does satisfactorily meet the requirements of a limousine owner and he is therefore recommending approval of the license.

Chief of Police and Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval of the city to extend the current service agreement with Wireless USA for a cost of $3,374 for communication equipment.

Resolution authorizing Lease Renewal Agreement for a portion of Washington Theater Premises with Elite Studio.

A resolution authorizing TIF Expenditure Rebating Property Taxes (Total Amount: $5001.50)

Transit Director and Transit Committee recommending approval of the quote from Gillig LLC, Hayward CA, in the amount of $12,975.62 for parts needed to repair Bus 1003.

Fire Chief, Director of Administrative Services and Airport Director recommending approval of the quote of $18,200 from University of Missouri-Columbia Fire and Rescue Training Institute for the required all response personnel training at the airport.
