1.Minutes of the Macomb City Council meeting held on Monday, October 16, 2017 and minutes of the Committee of the Whole meetings held on Monday, October 23, 2017 and Monday, October 30, 2017.

2.Department Reports: Police Department

3.Consideration to authorize soliciting bids for the construction of 11 new bus stop pads and shelters.

4.Consideration of a resolution authorizing execution and amendment of Downtown Operation Assistance Grant agreement for the Public Transportation program.

5.Consideration to approve the bid from Collins Concrete for sidewalk improvements at the Depot in the amount of $11,855.00.

Unfinished Business

1.Consideration of an ordinance to amend Section 2-51 of the Municipal Code to amend the time of the regular City Council meetings and to set the time of the City Council Committee of the Whole meetings.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading. A copy is attached for your review.

2.Consideration to approve the Management and Operations Agreement between the City of Macomb the YMCA of McDonough County concerning Glenwood Pool facilities.

This was discussed last Monday and final action will be in order.

3.Consideration of an ordinance to amend Appendix A Use Matrix to add Special Use, S*, Recreation Center under Service Businesses Heading, to R-1 and R-2 One Family, R-3 Two, R-3A Limited Multiple, and R-4 Multiple Family Residential Districts.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading.

4.Consideration of an ordinance to amend Chapter 17, Article XI, Section 17-639, 17-654, 17-669 and 17-819 Special Uses of the City of Macomb Municipal Code.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading.

5.Consideration of an ordinance to authorize the issuance of a special use permit to establish a legally non-conforming use in an R-1 Single Family Residential Zoning District at 1301 West Grant Street.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading.

6.Consideration to approve the side letter agreement with the Local No. 3053 International Association of Fire Fighters regarding staffing and compensation with Lifeguard Ambulance Service.

Attached is a memo from CA Torreson along with a copy of the side letter agreement for your review. Final action will be in order.

7.Consideration to approve the quote from Boehm’s Lawn and Garden to plant the downtown islands in the amount of $9,600.00.

Attached is a memo from DDD Kristin Terry for your review. Final action will be in order.

8.Other unfinished business.

New Business

1.Consideration of an ordinance authorizing the sale of certain personal property (equipment and vehicles) owned by the City of Macomb.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading. A copy is attached for your review.

2.Consideration of a resolution in support of Illinois Bicentennial Celebrations.

A copy of the resolution is attached for your review. Final adoption will be in order.

3.Consideration to award the bid for the Water Plant Lime Silo Access Stairs to Fusion Tech in the amount of $34,477.37.

Attached is a memo from Water Plant Manager Kent Cox for your review. Final action will be in order.

4.Consideration to authorize purchasing Chamber of Commerce gift certificates for city employees for Christmas in the amount of $30.00 each.

This has been an annual tradition for the city and currently there are 116 employees.

Final action will be in order.
