Hull-Kinderhook Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 116.7 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Hull-Kinderhook included 12 fires - one structure fire, two vehicle fires and nine other fires.

The department also received one false call.
