Perry Township Trustees Met In Regular Session, Called To Order At 7:30 By Chairperson Norm Capps. Kevin Cox And Greg Kessen Was Present. Roll call By Fiscal Officer. The Pledge Of Allegiance Followed.

Bill Joseph – Going To Active Shooter Class And Will Be Our Instructor. Training Will Be Down In West Liberty.

Jim Snyder – Doing Annual Service On Generator. Estimated Cost Of $350 (Snyder Electric) Saturday May 5th Cops For Kids Event 9:30-11:30 At Perry Elementary.

Continuing Joint Trainings On May 12th With Fire Dept– Mental Health (Recognize Sign And Symtoms Of Mental Illness)

Will Do Another Joint Training In July With Fire Dept.

Joe Clay Property – Filed On Him With Prosecuting Attorney Yesterday For Junk Cars. Daniel Dailey 4819 Mcpheron – Hasn’t Removed Junk Cars, Will Send One More Letter Before Filing With Prosecuting Attorney.

Zoning Appeals Board Met On 4/19/18 About Aldi’s Variance For Parking Spaces – They Voted To Approve Variance Request For Parking Spaces.

Castle Property On Greely Chapel Road Near Pepsi Having Issue With Trash In Front And Someone Dumping In Back.

Clean Up Day Held On Saturday June 23rd 9 am To 1 pm

Paul Curtis – HB 294 Wanting To Purchase Two Vacants Lots On East 11th St. Board Is Concerned With Several Cars On Curtis Current Property. Norm Spoke To Paul Curtis About His Interest In Purchasing Adjacent Property. Norm Asked Paul To Comply With Current Zoning Code For Your Neighborhood, Working With Zoning Inspector To Confirm To Code. Currently Norm Is Not In Favor Of Him Purchasing Lots. Board Left It Up To Tony To Work With Paul To Approve Property To Clean It Up. Paul Curtis Stated He Fixes And Sells Cars On Property He Owns On Reese.

Greg Kessen Made Motion To Go Into Executive Session At 8:12pm For Compensation And Discipline Of Public Employee, 2nd Kevin Cox, Roll call.
