Winchester Community Unit School District 1 recently issued the following announcement.
With the installation of new bleachers at the football field several changes are in place for home football games.
- The west side is now the home to West Central fans and the admission gate will be at the ramp behind the bleachers. There will be no admission gate on the northwest end.
- Parking inside the south double gate will be for those with a handicapped placard on their visor or those 65 and older. Keep in mind the new bleachers provide for handicap seating.
- Visiting fans can park in the southeast student lot or south of the football field with entry at the northeast or south gate.
- Reminder of safety rules enacted last football season - 5th graders and younger must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older and all balls/toys are not allowed at the games.
