City of Greenville issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
Your Christmas tree is a vital part of the holiday tradition, but what to do with it when the holiday is over?
Residents of the City of Greenville may leave their Christmas tree on the curb throughout the month of January. Crews will pick up the trees, which will then be placed in Governor Bond Lake for fish habitat. The city reminds you that the tree must be free of all lights, ornaments, and tinsel.
