Report: Meredosia-Chambersburg spent $15,012 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Meredosia-Chambersburg Community Unit School District 11 is up 16.6 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Morgan County school district spent $12,870 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $15,012 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 238 to 201.

Meredosia-Chambersburg's spending in 2017-18 was 12.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
