Jacksonville home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Jacksonville fell by $4,250 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 50 homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,250 - a 5.4% decrease over the $78,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Jacksonville in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,808.90, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
