City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on March 29.
The City of Jacksonville is offering varius vehicles for sale to the highest bidder, for cash, by sealed bids. The vehicles are available to view at 200 West Oak Street, Jacksonville, IL. All bids are to be received in the City Clerk's Office, located at 200 West Douglas, Jacksonville, IL 62650, by 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 19, 2019, in a sealed envelope marked "BID-VARIOUS VEHICLES". Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. Please contact Les Ballenger 217.479.4653 or Sally Long 217.479.4615 for additional information. The following vehicles are on the surplus list to be sold:

2005 Ford Ranger
2007 Ford Focus
1974 GMC 6000 Flusher Truck
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any bids received and to waive any informality in the bidding process.
